Program Overview
The Program aims to develop participants’ knowledge of the essential elements and techniques of leadership, as well as knowledge, skills, and practice of the management and development of people in the workplace. The Program will reinforce the professional and transferable skills in interpersonal communication and teamwork, as well as understanding and using various tools and techniques to support strategic decision-making and effective leadership. Participants can lead teams effectively, drive organizational change, and achieve strategic goals by emphasizing more personal and creative approaches to management.
Program Objectives
Upon completing the Program, the student will:
- Demonstrate understanding of leadership and the nature of management in organizations, thriving in an African multi-cultural environment and a high level of global awareness
- Exhibit robust civic engagement and ethical behavior in their community.
- Develop knowledge and expertise in identifying, understanding, and successfully tackling the interdisciplinary, cross-functional, strategic issues that characterize top management decision-making today.
- Develop insight into how organizations create new value and add value to products and services.
- Develop the management skills and knowledge to lead and grow professionally in the increasingly dynamic African and global economic environments.

Admission Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (minimum 3rd class) in any discipline, with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
Or
Professional Qualifications (e.g., ICAG, ACCA, CIM, CIMA, etc.), with at least two years of relevant work experience.
International Applicants
- International applicants must have an equivalent Bachelor's degree (minimum 3rd class) in any discipline with two years of relevant work experience. GTEC would determine degree equivalence.
- International applicants from non-English-speaking Countries must show evidence of English Language Proficiency.Â
Or
- Substantial business and entrepreneurial experience – NiBS will consider the application of candidates who have at least 15 years of relevant work experience. Such participants must not be more than 10% of any cohort.
- International applicants may be admitted based on qualifications from their home country universities with equivalence determined by GTEC and submitted to NiBS.
- Evidence of English Language Proficiency is required from students from non-English-speaking countries.Â
